TRADERS ROYAL BANK JINGLE LYRICS (1982) | "Count on us"

Trader's Royal Bank (TRB) was a prominent commercial bank in the Philippines, founded in 1950. It was well-regarded for its commitment to financial services, catering to both individual and corporate clients. With its tagline "Count on Us," TRB emphasized reliability, trust, and customer service, making it a trusted name in the banking industry. During the 1980s and 1990s, TRB was a familiar presence, with branches across the country and strong marketing efforts, including memorable TV commercials. However, in 2001, Bank of Commerce acquired select assets and liabilities of TRB, marking the end of its independent operations while contributing to the growth of the acquiring bank.

One of TRB’s most remembered contributions to advertising was its 1980s TV jingle, featuring an uplifting and reassuring tune that reinforced its message of dependability. The lyrics, "What can we do for you today at Traders Royal Bank? / We'll get you through / We'll do it all for you / Count on us...", captured the bank’s commitment to customer support and financial stability. The melody and delivery reflected the optimistic and service-driven branding of TRB, making it one of the classic Filipino bank jingles of its time.

Lyrics:

What can we do
for you today at Traders Royal Bank?
We'll get you through
We'll do it all for you
oohh hoo
Count of us.
